Salad Ways Stock Paste

$7.50

Stock paste 300ml $7.50 including GST.
Made using only our chemical free vegetables and herbs, rock salt and olive oil.
Ingredients: celery, carrot, onion, parsnip, zucchini, garlic, bay leaf, basil, sage, rosemary, parsley, rock salt, olive oil.
Recipe: 200g celery, 2 carrots, 1 onion, 1 parsnip, 1 zucchini, 2 cloves garlic, 1 bay leaf, 2 sprigs basil, 2 sprigs sage, 2 sprigs rosemary, 8 sprigs parsley, 150g rock salt, 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Chop all the vegetables and herbs then blend in a food processor until very finely chopped. Add the rock salt and olive oil and cook gently until the vegetables are soft. Allow to cool and blend to a smooth paste.
A great base for soups, stews and sauces. 1 tablespoon – 500ml boiled water in place of stock powder or cubes.

For online and prepaid orders your box will be available for pick up from Snout in the Trough in Camperdown or The Butcher’s Cut in Cobden on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11.45am. Alternatively, Fiona can arrange to meet you between 11.45am and 12.15pm at Snout in the Trough for COD orders, or between 10.45am and 11.15am in Cobden.

Please pick up your box on the day of delivery and enjoy the produce at its freshest and remember to take care of your box and swap it back with your next order.

If all else fails, talk to Fiona and she might be able to get Nick to do the occasional home delivery after he’s taken the dogs for a walk.
